Ellen DeGeneres's home interior: stylish Beverly Hills estate she shares with Portia de Rossi

Besides Oprah Winfrey, whose house we featured on our website Top Celebrith Homes not along ago Oprah Winfrey's home: cosy Santa Barbara farmhouse, Ellen DeGeneres is probably the most famous TV hostess. Here, she shares with Architectural Digest her Beverly Hills home shared with her partner Portia de Rossi.

Even though Ellen DeGeneres's living room has a pale color palette, it looks very warm and inviting thanks to the use of different texture: linen, cotton, wool, velvet, silk, wood... Not to mention a glowing fireplace. The Avalon blanket is by Hermès, and the fringed throw is an antique textile. A pair of slipcovered sofas and a cocktail table, all by Kathleen Clements Design, are grouped with Louis XVI bergères. The bust sculpture near the fireplace is by Ruth Asawa.

You could easily see whose shoes are placed where. Ellen DeGeneres's shoes are mostly sneakers/trainers, whilst her wife Portia de Rossi's shoes are feminine heels.
A tranquil and welcoming porch/conservatory at Ellen DeGeneres's home. The wooden table is genuine 19th century antique.
Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi's home has a gorgeous pool overlooking Beverly Hills.
A Ping-Pong table by Argentine artist Rirkrit Tiravanija gives the entrance hall a quirky touch. There is also a Spanish Colonial bench from Lief and a Serge Mouille chandelier; the 19th-century Agra carpet is from the Melrose Project. Not a strong color is seen in this calm entrance.
