A model with an English mother and Chinese father, Alexa Chung has an exotic look that fits her boyish, edgy fashion style, of which her apartment is a reflection. A vintage David Bowie vinyl is one of a few ornaments. Her hair is the result of a recent trip to the salon. “I said ‘I want to look like Kurt Cobain

On NYTimes: Alexa Chung's style is described as tomboy-meets-Lolita (delicate mini-dresses and brogues). "WHAT I’M WEARING NOW Marni shoes with my favorite socks. I don’t like my feet, so with open-toe sandals, I often put socks on to mask the horrendousness. The shorts are old Levi’s; I’ve had them since I was 18. The blouse is Topshop... The necklace was originally Mawi, but I added things to it."

Fairy lights adorn the bare walls, with exposed bricks on one side and white-washed on the others, of Alexa Chung's apartment in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. She is hipster muse of Chanel's Karl Lagerfield, and has a bag named after her (the Alexa bag by Mulberry).
